Technical Support Specialist for a heavy machinery manufacturer MNC based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka

This prestigious MNC that specializes in manufacturing heavy machinery, based in Ayer Keroh (Melaka), require a hands-on Technical Support Specialist to join its global, dynamic business.

Key responsibilties:
  • Perform detailed root cause analysis to issues generated by onsite handlers, in compliance with the required lead-time and internal standards processes (DAQ, IAQ, FAQ, etc).
  • To understand client(s) process’ requirements and equipments’ interface.
  • To participate with the team for trouble shooting complex issues, mostly multidisciplinary issues.
  • To extract and maintain necessary technical information by customer, that is suitable for customer process and helpful for equip
  • To follow thoroughly, processes related to each of the activities needed to achieve respective required results.ment manufacturing.

What you'll need to succeed:
  • Diploma or Degree in engineering in related fields (mechatronics, electric hardware, automated systems, computer science or equivalent).
  • Expertise in one of the disciplinary skills (Electrics, Software, Vision).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills (able to clearly convey information and ideas).
  • Understanding of PDCA, and risk assessment (FMEA).
  • Minimum of three years experience in an automation/equipment development in Service and/or Manufacturing environment.
