Technical Commercial Engineer Role for Marine Engines

This organisation is a regional OEM sales hub for rotating equipment in the South East Asia countries – Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines.

Your new role
  • Provide after sales service and technical support to customers, by attending day-to-day inquiries, large quotes (bulk) and orders.
  • Cooperate with relevant departments both in-house and in HQ to ensure the technical validity of quotes and orders
  • Ensure tasks related to sales process is followed, including related administrative tasks
  • Gather technical documentation from engine builders/ customers to ensure correct spare parts are quoted/ offered
  • Ensure technical data/information for assigned customers/ vessels are up-to-date in the systems
  • Build and maintain optimal relations with customers, HQ & IGC

What you'll need to succeed
  • Degree in engineering or relevant technical Diploma with related working experience
  • Knowledge of 2 and 4 stroke engines
  • Experience in the marine/ shipping industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP knowledge is a plus point
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
  • Ability to work independently as well as participate and work as a team
