Your new company
The company is a Malaysian based joint venture between one of the largest global chemical companies from Europe with a major local oil and gas player. Its is presently a major player regionally and produces a wide range of chemical products which are used across a wide array of industries from automotives to food and beverages.

Your new role
You will be an essential and senior member of the legal team providing support across various business units on advice related to contractual terms and conditions, policies, regulations and compliance particularly with regards to the procurement process. You will play an integral process in the negotiations of win-win partnerships with vendors and suppliers and proactively manage disputes that may arise. You will also ensure the best outcomes of various purchasing orders from various agreements and contracts are met.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 8 years PQE. Work experiences within the manufacturing or energy industry will be advantageous.
• Experiences with tenders and bids, EPC, procurement or purchase orders.
• Good commercial contract drafting skills
• Excellent English proficiency. Experiences in a multi-national organisation is advantageous
