Sales & Business Development Manager

A MNC Industrial Corporation is currently looking out for a General Manager/Senior Sales Manager

You’ll be working for a reputable market-leader within the Machinery Solutions industry based in Malaysia. With an aggressive growth plan and the vision to become a better leader in its field, it continues to gain market share over its competitors.

Your new role
You will be reporting to the Vice President of Operations. Your responsibilities would consist of:
  • Work closely with the Country Sales team to identity and develop sales opportunities and to develop and manage annual business development/marketing plans
  • Develop business proposals and manage timelines for projects
  • Carry out sales and marketing activities to promote business growth
  • Attend to customer visits alongside sales representatives throughout the SEA region
  • To identify all sales opportunities within the coverage area that will contribute to the achievement of the revenue and profit budget.
  • Conducting surveys, project inception, formulation, and concept planning for clients
  • Implement and carrying out strategically focused plans resulting in long term growth
  • Prepare forecast monthly reports for upcoming projections
  • Key external role is building and managing relationships with private business/industry leaders/organisations
  • Conduct initial fact-finding surveys, project inception, formulation, and concept planning
  • Manage, execute, and supervise engineering and validation projects for clients

What you'll need to succeed
To ensure your success within this role, you will need to possess:
  • Minimum of 10 years of working experience in the Engineering industry
  • Relevant experience(s) in Sales & Marketing
  • A recognised bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Good command and Writing in English
  • Strong planning skills
  • Preferably an Expat living in Malaysia
