Responsible for engineering tasks from bidding, feasibility study, design, implementation and completion

Our client is a renowned provider of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning for petrochemical, chemical and other general industries in Malaysia. This company is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Process Engineer to join their company and contribute to the expansion plan of their ever-growing business.
Your new role
As an integral part of the team, you’ll be responsible for participating in ITB studies and prepare bid specifications, establishing standards and concepts for the work to comply with job requirements, and be involved in various engineering stages such as Feasibility Study, Basic Engineering Design and Detail Engineering. You’ll also be required to prepare Process Drawings (Process Flow Scheme, P&ID, Equipment Data Sheet, Instrument data sheet, etc.), interface with other disciplines (e.g. Mechanical, Piping, Instrument), liaise with clients and vendors, and assist Team Manager by planning, scheduling, and maintaining quality control of designated project and support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
What you'll need to succeed
Possessing 1st Class or 2nd Class Upper Degree in Chemical Engineering is a necessity along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering/design experience with an engineering company in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries (Onshore). Having EPCC and FS project cycle experience is also a must. Knowledge on process simulation software (PRO II & HYSYS), flare network simulation (FLARENET), gas radiation (FLARESIM) and heat exchanger sizing and rating is a requirement for this role. Experience operating AutoCAD is an added advantage. Candidates must also possess good command in English be able to operate MS Office and MS Project and be willing to travel and station at site.
