A key player in the industry, this company has grown to become a market leader in life and general insurance providers across the region. They are currently looking to hire a Principle Software Engineer as they move towards improving performances across their different subsidiaries. This vacancy is based out of the Kuala Lumpur office and as of now, majority of the workforce are working from home.

Your new role
As a principle engineer, you will be responsible for both the middle and back office solutions across the different platforms and applications. You will work closely with the different teams and your day to day responsibilities would be broken up into strategic planning, stakeholder and delivery management, people development and most critically, engineering and architecting.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need to have extensive experience in LifeAsia, Policy Asia and AS400.
Experience in people and development management would be useful as well of knowledge of the insurance domain.
Java development experience would be an added advantage
