Our client is a leading food manufacturer with strong presence in the market across the globe. Few years ago, they established a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Johor, which became one of the largest facility within the company.
Your new role
This is a plant engineering role, under the Engineering department, where you will be responsible for managing the projects related to packaging of the products. You are required to independently evaluate and look into packaging specification, and implement package systems for new and existing products, propose alternatives, conduct trials on packaging at the production floor. You are the key lead for packaging projects in planning, organising and coordinating the projects to ensure that requirements, budget and deadlines are met. What you'll need to succeed
An ideal candidate would have a Degree in Engineering or Material Science with strong project management experience within the FMCG industry. Knowledge in various packaging technology and equipment will be an added advantage. Good communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
