Our clients are a well reputed international law firm looking to onboard a talented Banking and Finance Legal Associate.

Your new role

• Drafting, preparing, and vetting various banking and finance related commercial agreements/contracts for international clients.
• Handling cross-border transactions, project financing and construction/real estate financing documents.
• Hold an international portfolio covering both Islamic and conventional financing.

What you'll need to succeed

• LL.B degree holder with a minimum 2:1 from reputable law schools and admitted to the UK/Malaysian Bar
• Two to three years of PQE with experience in top-tier legal firms.
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Prior experience in banking, corporate finance, debt capital markets and cross-border dealings are preferred.
• Knowledge in Islamic finance is a BONUS.
• Self-starter, reliable and willing to work as part of an international team
