A top tier education company located in Selangor is looking for a Head of Communications .

Your new role
  • Lead operational management and delivery of Media Relations and Internal Communications activities
  • Provide strategic counsel to the Marketing Director, Management Board Members on reputation management, hostile/crisis and issues management, communications and social media tactics
  • Spearhead and risk assess the strategic direction, planning, coordination, and management of communications strategies in line with vision, priorities, and business strategy
  • .Lead the development of strategy and delivery of communications via digital and social media channels: Coordinate the use of social media channels to enhance external reputation. Enhance channels for student and staff communication. Ensure the organisation achieves positive, high-impact internal communications and engagement, which builds institutional affinity among students and encourages staff to be resilient advocates of change


What you'll need to succeed
  • Expert understanding of communication strategy and techniques and how the media works
  • Expert understanding of internal communication techniques which foster engagement and institutional pride
  • Excellent planning skills and the ability to balance conflicting deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Delivery-focused, ensuring that projects are completed successfully, to deadline, reported on and reviewed to improve future performance
  • Exceptional ability to communicate and explain complex issues in a clear, concise and persuasive language, both verbally and in writing
  • 10 years of experience in Communications and experienced in leading teams
