Electronic Design Engineer

Electronic Design Engineer for a machine maker MNC that specializes in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Your new company
This machine maker MNC is a global market leader in the heavy manufacturing industry. They specialize in semiconductor manufacturing equipment and are located in Ayer Keroh, Melaka. Due to rapid growth, they are seeking and Electronic Design Engineer to join the team.

Key responsibilities:
  • Design of machine control systems according to CE & local authoritative safety requirements.
  • Preparation of Electronics Circuit Diagram (ECD) for serial lot assembly, customer upgrades as well as specific customer new machines.
  • Identifying deficiencies/weaknesses (with supporting data & calculations) in electrical processes/components and developing improvements.
  • Act as internal project manager for development/evaluation projects when and if assigned to.
  • Meeting with business management, Sales, Assembly, internal R&D members, Procurement and suppliers to discuss product ideas.

What you'll need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' working experience within semiconductor manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in E-CAD system Siggraph, or CAD, Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, laws, machine design rules and norms.
