Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer for a machine maker MNC based in Penang.

Your new company
This machine maker MNC is a global market leader within the automation industry, located in Penang. Due to rapid growth, they are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their fast-paced working environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Completes the electrical design and schematics of machinery.
  • Communicate project concerns, project status, and design solutions with management, project manager, fellow staff and clients.
  • Discuss with Mechanical and Programming Design team members to evaluate the design and ensure requirements are met.
  • Generate and submit BOM to the Purchasing Department.
  • Calculate and document system and component sizing.

What you'll need to succeed:
  • Experienced in AutoCAD, DraftSight, E3, Microsoft Excel.
  • Design basic power distribution and control circuits.
  • Provide HMI devices and design interface circuitry.
  • Knowledge of electromechanical relationships of an entire automation system.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware design and component selection.
