Our client is a market leading heavy manufacturing company which supplies its products across the globe.
Your new role
You will liaise with external parties including customs and MITI, clients and suppliers - know how to handle customs documents for all shipment activities. You will also monitor shipment loading and OTD. You will track and report quality issues such as shipping discrepancies, claim issues, freight issues and vendor issues. You will look into customer satisfaction reports and work on improving the response time, reducing complaints and providing better service overall. You will set the KPIs for your team and ensure that they are motivated to achieve targets.
What you'll need to succeed
What you'll get in return
- Strong customer service experience in Logistics / Shipping field
- Candidates from Shipping Line would be a plus
- Experience handling Customs documents and checking on shipment lead time
- People management experience, at least managing a team of 2 people
