You’ll be working for a well-established multinational provider of drilling for the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry based in Malaysia.

Your new role
Your responsibilities would consist of:

• Ensure that the organization carries out its statutory obligations and its interests are protected.
• Identify and introduce strategies to ensure business can be established successfully in Sarawak.
• Monitor and brief the teams on the needs, priorities, KPIs and reason on the strategy for company’s expansion plan.
• Analyse business potentials and threats through frequent competitor analysis.
• Maintain appropriate level of awareness and knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment across the company.
• Manage stakeholders and government relations including Immigration, Customs and State Government.
• Lead and manage team as well as promote professional growth within the team.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with employees, clients and relevant authorities as well as local government bodies.
• Keeping abreast of the local area, language and market involved.
• Ensure that the organization carries out its statutory obligations and its interests protected.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the higher management.

What you'll need to succeed
To ensure your success within this role, you will possess:

• A recognised bachelor’s degree in Business Studies / Management / Sales & Marketing
• Minimum of 10 years of experiences in Business Development preferably in Oil & Gas industry
• Excellent command of written and spoken in English
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills
• Possess strong business mindset, proactive and highly meticulous

• Strong customer service and comes with project management experience
• Possess a positive attitude and ability to adapt to transformation
• Willing to be based in Miri, Sarawak
