A leading social live commerce platform is eagerly looking to hire a Business Development Assistant Manager within the Klang Valley proximity. Innovating to empower both consumers and businesses, they are committed to letting people reach out to the different segments of consumers in Asia through multiple digital media sites, and provide high quality production of live streaming videos, which are informative, engaging, and entertaining.

Your new role
Your responsibilities would consist of:

  • Monitor daily category’s sales and propose action plan to ensure both sales and gross profit monthly target achieve.
  • Implementing quarterly / monthly category products’ planning, promotions, price changes, mark downs, clear outs, etc.
  • Source and liaise with vendors for best quality products at the best price to ensure best profit margin gains.
  • Communicate with live show content team on product information, promotion, demonstration and display and props.
  • Maintain and manage back-end system to ensure products are set up correctly.
  • Negotiate price and margin, product composition with vendor.
  • Any other ad-hoc job assigned by the superior.


What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications and Attributes that would be ideal for this role:

  • Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, or any equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years and above working experiences in related field
  • Experience dealing with multiple brands
  • Have good understanding of the Beauty, FMCG and Fashion industry market trends
  • Able to read/write/converse in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Possess strong marketing and sales background
  • Able to work well in a team
  • Flexibility to work on alternate Saturdays (Half Day)
