Working in a virtual global team, the SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for day to day activities but be actively involved in the overall administration, including deployment and release globally. They will be the main point of contact and a part of the SharePoint Competency Centre in Europe whom is responsible for the roll out of SharePoint Globally.
This candidate will also be responsible for using PowerShell for the release of SharePoint packages, support releases post go-live, diagnose issues with SharePoint software and related products and evaluate third party products. They will need to understand the SharePoint infrastructure and day to day maintenance of SharePoint 2010 and MOSS 2007 based farms.
To qualify for this role, the potential candidate must possess at least 2 years experience in administration, maintenance and implementation of SharePoint based farms. This candidate must have experience and a deep understanding of SharePoint technologies such as PowerSheel, SharePoint solution package releases, SharePoint infrastructure farm builds, migration of MOSS 2007 based applications and packaging, troubleshooting and deployment of Reporting services and SSIS packages.
